The Russian Revolution
In 1917 people in russia were sick of their CZAR (king) so they had a revolution! There was a new theory on how to run a country, called communism, and the Revolutionaries wanted to have Russia be a Communist. Their leader was Lenin, and standing behind him were Stalin and Trotsky. The Revolutionaries won. The czar was killed. Russia became a communist country and stopped fighting in WWI (They were on our side) |
