Term

Anemometer-

Definition

an instrument that measures speed and wind pressure

Term
[image]Atmosphere-
Definition

the envolope of gases surroiunding the Earth or another planet.

Term

Barometer-

Definition
An instument measuring atmosphereic pressure
Term

Condensation-

Definition
water that collects as droplets on a cold surface when humid air is in contact with it.
Term

Evaporation-

Definition
The changing of a liquid into a gas
Term

Humidity-

Definition
The relative humidity of an air-water mixture is defined as the ratio of the partial pressure of water vapor (H2O) in the mixture to the saturated vapor pressure of water at a given temperature. Thus the relative humidity of air is a function of both water content and temperature.
Term

Precipitation-

Definition
Precipitation has to do with things falling down, and not just fromsolid settles to the bottom of a solution. If you have hard water where you live, you might find lime deposits — a flaky white crust — on your faucets and showerhead. That's caused by precipitation of the minerals in the water. The minerals settle out — they precipitate — and clog the pipes.
Term

Tempature-

Definition
A temperature is a comparative objective measure of hot and cold. It is measured, typically by a thermometer, through the bulk behavior of a thermometric material, detection of heat radiation, or by particle velocity or kinetic energy.
Term

Tropophere-

Definition
Term

Weather Vane-

Definition
A weather vane, wind vane, or weathercock is an instrument for showing the direction of the wind. They are typically used as an architectural ornament to the highest point of a building.
Term

Thermometer-

Definition
an instrument for measuring and indicating temperature, typically one consisting of a narrow, hermetically sealed glass tube marked with graduations and having at one end a bulb containing mercury or alcohol that expands and contracts in the tube with heating and cooling.
