How do you do a WBC count? |

Definition
Look at 10 to 20 fields and get the average WBC number seen in those fields. Multiply this number by 2500.
For example , I saw 50 WBC’s in 10 fields. The average seen is 5. Then take the 5 and multiply by 2500. This gives me an estimated WBC count of 12’500/mm(3). |
