• Volcanos erupt bothe explosively and nonexplosively.
• Magma that has a high level of water, carbon dioxide, or silica tends to erupt explosively
• Pyroclastic material, such as ash and volcanic bombs , forms when magma solidfies as it  travels through air.
• Most nonexplosive eruptions are calm and not very bad. They usally just have lava come out and not debris.
