Definition
An OVF is a file format that allows the exchange of virtual appliances or vApps across products and platforms. It means 'Open VIrtualization Format'.

Definition
In the vSphere client, select file -> deploy OVF template. Specify your source location. Follow the wizard, which walks you through first any licenses that need to be accepted then becomes similar to setting up any other VM or group of VMs (Edit name, deployment configuration, location in terms of host/cluster, resource pool, storage profile, disk format, networking, IP allocation)
