Severe:

Systemic antibiotic therapy;

often Aminoglycoside (Gentimicin)

Causes:

 inciting antigen,

 postinfectious (after Strep A)

marked by loss of proteins, edema, increased cholesterol, and hyperlipidemia

 

Causes:

Chronic glomerulonephritis,

DM, Lupus, Myeloma

 May occur at any age especially in the elderly
