Definition
Three wars fought between Rome and Carthage over trade and land.
1st War- Carthage lost Sicily and Sardina
2nd War- Hannibal Barca lead army and elephants through Alps to attack Rome. Carthaginians almost won but had to retreat and lost lands in Spain.
3rd War- Carthage was destroyed. Rome won all three wars causing them to rule the entire Western Mediterranean.
