Sam had thought it would be a great prank to play on Ruby. Besides, how much harm could one little grasshopper cause? He caught the bug when he was out at recess, and waited until Ruby was standing in front of him at line up. When Mr. Singer had his back turned, Sam stuffed the chirping insect down the back of Ruby's sweater. The girl shrieked. Sam had thought it was funny. He'd thought it was a good idea, but now, after the principal's office and a talking from his parents, and being sent to bed without supper or dessert, he wasn't so sure anymore.

Despite the fact that said Lake is choked with algae, Warnock Lake is still considered a nice park. Flocks of geese come to let their hatchlings try out their first swims. Cozy, gravel trails wind through the woods there, eventually leading to the Forest of Friendship. The name might sound a little silly, but it represents the hard work and cooperation of a lot of people. Planted in it, are trees from around the country and even one tree grown from a seed that was taken to the moon and back!

Lisa went down to Rick's Furniture Store and bought one of their great couches. Her neighbor, Jess, decided she'd buy a new couch too, but instead of going to the local store, bought one off GreatDeals.com. A week later, Lisa hosts a party and invites all her neighbors over. Dean accidently spills wine on the couch. "Don't worry," says Lisa, "It still on warranty." Jess, however, on going back home from the party, found that her dog Yip-yip had chewed all the stuffing out of her new couch. A few days later a cleaner came out to Lisa's home and replaced the stained cushion, as he drove out he passed by street's community dumpster, where the shredded end of Jess's couch could be seen sticking out.
