• Notify the teacher of a fire, then follow their directions
• Do not attempt to fight the fire
• Use the fire blanket to put a fire out on a person
• Fire Extinguisher is for teacher use only
• Keep aisles and walkways clear to allow for safe exit

• You are responsible for returning your own materials
• Do not take any materials from the lab, (unless it is outdoor lab)
• If you are allergic to something in the lab, tell the teacher
• If your equiqment is not working properly, tell the teacher

Using Heat, Chemicals, Glassware and Electricity

• You must wear goggles as specified by the teacher (if it can break, splash, or get into the eye... wear goggles!)
• Make sure areas around electrical sockets are dry before using
• Point what you are heating away from living beings
• Do not put a lighted object next to something flammable
• Flammable means "catches fire easily"

• Do not clean glass up when broken
• Tell the teacher when a acident occurs
• Tie hair back
• Wear close-toed shoes
