Thermal Imaging Camera – An imager not camera uses infrared energy not visible to the eye, displays temperature of the object. Hotter object are white, Cooler objects are black. The newer TICS have colorization. Should be carried by RIC leader and should not be glued to the screen since your peripheral vision will be greatly reduced. Major benefit of TIC is that it can see the image of person in total darkness and through smoke.
