Adult Dose A. Eclampsia: 1-4gm IV over 3 minutes B. Torsades, refractory V-fib and V-tach: 1-2gm IV over 1-2 minutes. C. Moderate to severe asthma: 2gm slow IVP (1min).
Pediatric Dose A. Moderate to severe asthma: 25 mg/kg slow IVP (1min).
Typically requires medical control unless in cardiac arrest. |
