1. Walks>Stands>Sits
2. Delight in the Law of the Lord
3. Fruitful Tree VS Chaff
4. Judgement
5. The Lord knows the way of the righteous
6. The way of the wicked will perish

12v

"The Messiah, King and Conquerer"

• Nations and Kings Conspire against the Lord and his anointed.
• Let us burst their bonds!
• He who sits in the heavens laughs.
• I have set my king... you are my son, today I have begotten you.
• You shall break them and dash them.
• O Kings, be wise, be warned... serve the Lord with fear.

"I am safe in the Lord's keeping"

• Many, many, many are my foes
• "There is no help for him in God."
• I lie down and sleep... for the Lord sustains me.
• Arise, O Lord... break the teeth of the wicked.

"Thanksgiving"

• Thou hast given me room when I was in distress.
• How long will you seek after lies?
• Be angry, but sin not.
• Commune with your own hearts on your bed, and be silent.
• Thou hast put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound.
• In peace I will lie down and sleep; for thou alone, O Lord, makest me dwell in safety.

"A morning prayer asking for help"

• In the morning... prayer, sacrifice, watch
• Thou hatest all evildoers
• Their throat is an open sepulchre
• They have rebelled
• The righteous: refuge, defend, cover, shield, rejoice, joy, exult, blessing, favor

Psalm 6

"A suffering man cries to God for mercy"

• Languishing
• bones and soul are troubled
• How long?
• In sheol who can give thee praise?
• Deliver me for the sake of thy steadfast love.
• Depart from me, all you workers of evil.
• The Lord has heard my weeping, supplication, prayer

17v

"Prayer of a God fearing man who is being calumniated"

• In thee do I take refuge
• Thou hast appointed a judgement
• Judge me! I am righteous and have integrity!
• O let the evil of the wicked some to an end!
• Thou who triest the minds and hearts of men
• If a man does not repent God will whet his sword
• Evil man conceives, pregnant, brings forth lies
• He makes a pit and falls into the hole
• His mischief shall return on his own head
• Thanks and praise

"The majesty of the Lord and man's dignity"

• O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is thy name in all the earth!
• Your glory is chanted by the mouths of babes and infants.
• When I look at the heavens, moon, stars... 
• What is man that thou are mindful of him?
• Yet thou hast made him little less than God
• Gives man Dominion
• O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is thy name in all the earth!

20v

"Thanksgiving for victory"

• Thank you for maintaining my just cause.
• You judge the peoples with equity.
• The Lord does not forsake the poor and needy.
• The nations, the wicked, those who forget God, will sink in their own pits, be snared in their own traps, depart to Sheol.
• Let all the nations know they are but men!

Psalm 10

18v

"Prayer of Thanksgiving"

• Why dost thou hide thyself in times of trouble?
• The wicked pursue the poor, all their thoughts are, 'There is no God... I shall not be moved... God has forgotten... he will never see it.'
• Arise O Lord... thou wilt hear the desire of the meek... thou wilt strengthen their heart.
• Do justice... so that the man who is of the earth may strike terror no more.

"God is the unfailing support of the just"

• In the Lord I take refuge.
• The wicked bends the bow... if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?
• The Lord is in his holy temple.
• His eyes behold, his eyelids test the children of men.
• On the wicked he will rain fire and brimstone.
• The upright shall behold his face.

"A cry for God's help against powerful oppressors"

• Help Lord; for there is no more godly or faithful.
• Lies, flattering lips, double hearts.
• Our lips are with us; who is our master?
• Because the poor and needy groan, the Lord says, "I will arise"
• The promises of the Lord are purified 7 times.
• Vileness is exalted among the sons of men.

"The Lament of the just man who does not lose hope in God"

• How long... how long... how long... how long?
• Forget? Hide the face? Bear pain/sorrow? Enemies exalt?
• Consider... lest... I die and my enemies rejoice
• I have trusted in the steadfast love... I will sing to the Lord.

Psalm 14

7v

"The foolishness of the wicked"

• The fool says in his heart, "There is no God"
• The Lord looks down to see if any act wisely, and seek God.
• There is none that does good.
• Have they no knowledge?
• They shall be in great terror.
• The Lord is the refuge of the poor.
• Israel shall be glad

5v

"Who is worthy to stand in God's presence?"

• Who shall sojourn in thy tent?
• He who walks blamelessly, does right, speaks truth.
• Does not slander, practice usury or bribery.
• Who swears to his own hurt and does not change.
• He who does these things shall never be moved.

"The Lord himself is my heritage"

• I have no good apart from thee.
• The saints are the noble
• Idolators multiply their sorrows.
• In the night he instructs my heart.
• My heart is glad... my body shall dwell secure
• Path of life, fulness of joy, pleasures for evermore.

Psalm 17

15v

"Save me Lord from those who hate you"

• Hear a just cause! Try me! Test me!
• Arise, O Lord!
• Confront the men whose portion in life is of the world... may their belly, and their children's bellies be full with what thou has in store for them.
• When I awake, I shall be satisfied with beholding thy form.

"Hymn of Thanksgiving"

• The Lord is my strength, rock, fortress, deliverer, horn of salvation.
• I call upon the Lord... he heard my voice.
• Thick darkness under his feet, covering around him, thick clouds dark with water
• He drew me out of mighty waters and brought me to a broad place
• With the loyal thou dost show thyself loyal
• Who is a rock, but our God?
• Thou didst make me the head of the nations.
• I will extol thee among the nations.

"Praise of the Lord, Creator of all"

• The heavens are telling the glory of God
• The Sun comes forth like a bridegroom.
• The Law of the Lord revives the soul, rejoices the heart.
• More to be desired than gold or honey
• Keep me from hidden faults and presumptuous sins.

Psalm 20

"A prayer for the king's victory"

• May... may... may... may...may
• Now I know that Lord will help his anointed
• Answer, protect, send help/support, remember, regard, grant, fulfil.
• Some boast of chariots/horses, but we boast of the name of the Lord our God.
• Give victory to the king, O Lord
