* dark/tarry stools, hematemesis or coffe-ground emesis, blood in stool

* anaphylaxis (most serious)

*diarrhea, nausea, and vomitting

* reduce effectivness of oral contraceptives

* minor rash/itching-possible anaphylaxis

* considerable pain at injection site

* affects vaginal, oral, and intestinal flora (superinfections)

* epigastric burning and diarrhea may be severe enough to stop therapy

* discoloration of teeth, fetal bone growth/teeth

* photosensitivity

* hepatotoxicity caused by estolate salt of the drug (most severe)

* hearing loss, vertigo, dizziness (with high doses)

* rash, nausea, vomiting and fatigue

* nephrotoxicity may occur in patients with pre-existing kidney impairment

* phototoxicity, headache, dizziness

* patients with "heart disease" should be monitored regularly( tacycardia)

* BLACK BOX warning: LABAs may increase the risk of asthma related death

* irritation of the upper respiratory tract= cough, drying of nasal mucosa

* produces bitter taste-rinse mouth

* may mask signs of infection (do NOT use if active infection)

* prolonged use--oropharyngeal candidiasis

* corticosteroid toxicity with prolonged use

* headache is most common

* nausea and diarrhea

* tachycardia, palpations, blurred vision or headaches
