Eye: miosis, accomodation Bronchi: bronchoconstriction-Don’t give to asthma Heart: decrease HR (decrease SA node firing)-Don’t give to Bradycardia, congestive failure GI: increase motility, increase gastric acid secretion, and relaxation of sphincters-Don’t give to bowel obstruction (ruptured bowel and peritonitis) or stomach ulcers Bladder: detrusor contracts, sphincter relaxes-Don’t give to bladder obstruction (rupture) Salivary, lacrimal, mucus, sweat glands – increase secretion-Don’t give to pt. with risk of aspiration from tubes and saliva in their throats |
