-eye gaze, body posture

-peer relationships

-social sharing

-social/emotional reciprocity

-delay in/ lack of language

-impaired sustaining of a conversation

-echolalia/ sterotyped use of lang.

-lack of make beleive play, social imitation

-repetitive behavior

-repetitive interests

-repetitive activities

-Attachment

     -not as impaired as once thought

     -maybe 40-5-% secure attachment if adapted criteria are used

-social imitation

-joint attention

-orienting to social stimuli

      -social orienting to impairments in joint attention to delayed language??
