| Abram's People: Lord God assures Abram that his decendents will be numerous. Abram believes the Lord, God made a covenant that the land will be the Abram's 16 Hagar given over to Abram, but after concieving Hagar dispised Sarai so Sarai treated harshly. Hagar fled, but God met her and told her to submit to her mistress. Ishmael 17 Name change to Abraham! 18 The Lord visits Abraham and Abraham welcomes him, the Lord predicts Sarah's pregnancy and Sarah laughs. The Lord decides to share with Abraham what he is going to do to Sodom and Abraham intercedes until the Lord promises to spare them if there are 10 righteous men. 19 Angels appear in Sodom and Lot welcomes them into his home, Sodom in their wickedness try to violate the visitors. The angels tell Lot to flee because of God's favor. Lot flees but his wife dies, his two daughters trick Lot into sleeping with them and they both bear children. 20 Abraham lied again about Sarah being his sister causing a curse on Abimelech and his people. God appeared to Abimelech and revealed the truth and Abimelech restored Sarah to Abraham and sent them off with many goods. 21 Issac born to Sarah in her old age, but in turn Sarah asks Abraham to dismiss Hagar and her son. God promises to bless Ishmael because he was from Abraham. Also Abraham makes a covenant with Abimelech. 22 God asks Abraham to offer Issac and Abraham obeys, God stops him in the middle and commends him for not holding anything back from the Lord. God blesses him. 23 Sarah died and buried in the land of the sons of Heth in the field of Ephron which Abraham insisted on paying for. |

| Jacob Flees: Rebekah and Jacob tricks his father Issac to bless him when Issac thinks it is really Esau, so Esau is furious and wants to kill Jacob, so Rebekah instructs Jacob to flee to Laban's house and not to take a daughter of Heth. 28 Issac gives Jacob instructions to leave and marry Laban's daughters, Esau sees this and takes a daughter if Ishmael because of his father's displeasure in his wives, so Jacob sets out and God speaks to him in a dream speaking blessing and inheritance of the land to him. |

| Jacob Returns Home: Jacob secretly runs from Laban and doesn't tell him anything, Laban pursues and catches up with him and asks why he did what he did, Jacob felt Laban cheated him, so they make a covenant to go their separate ways. 32 Jacob fears the meeting with Esau that Esau is still angry with him, so he plans to appease Esau with gifts while also splitting his family to keep part of them safe, afterwards Jacob wrestles with an angel and Jacob tough to beat the angel dislocated his hip and changes his name and blesses him. 33 Esau meets Jacob and embraces him, Jacob explains his plans but Esau warmly welcomes Jacob and Esau goes back first and Jacob will follow with his family and herds. |

| Joseph start to Jail: Joseph was Israel's favorite and it caused his brothers to despise him, and Joseph had his two dreams of his brothers and family bowing down to him and it made them even more angry so they plotted to kill him but Reuben convinces them to not kill him, but they do end up selling him to slave traders and make it look like he was killed by a wild beast and Israel mourns for many days because of the loss. 38 Judah marries and bears three sons, the first two die because they did wrong in God's eyes, the wife Tamar of the first son was sent away in fear the third son would die like the first two, because of Judah's lying she plays a prostitute and lays with Judah, she becomes pregnant and is brought out to be killed when it is revealed that Judah is the father and Judah is exposed for his lying. 39 Joseph was sold to Potiphar in Egypt and because of the Lord's favor with Joseph, Potiphar is blessed so Potiphar puts Joseph in charge of his whole house, but Potiphar's wife takes notice of Joseph and tries to seduce him, but Joseph refuses, one day she catches him and tries to seduce him but he runs away and she lies saying he tried to rape her, so Potiphar has him thrown in jail, but even in jail God is with Joseph and the warden puts Joseph in charge of the whole jail. 40 The king of Egypt's cubbearer and chief baker were thrown into jail, both had dreams but did not know how to interpret so Joseph interprets for them, predicting the cubbearer will be restored and the chief baker will be killed and it happens just as he predicts but the cubbearer forgets about Joseph. |

| Joseph over Egypt: Pharaoh has a dream but none of his people can interpret it, but the cupbearer tells Pharaoh of Joseph and his ability to interpret, so Pharaoh shares his dream with Joseph and Joseph interprets the dream of the 7 years of abundance and 7 years of famine and Pharaoh puts Joseph in charge of all Egypt to prepare and it happens just as Joseph had predicted. 42 Jacob sends the 10 older brothers to trade for grain in Egypt, while there Joseph recognizes them, but they do not recognize him, so Joseph accuses them of being spies, forcing them to leave Simeon behind and to bring back Benjamin to prove they are not spies, as they return to Canaan they find that their money is in with the grain they were to buy, they tell Jacob their father of this and he refuses to send Benjamin even through Reuben promises his return. 43 The lack of food forces them to go to Egypt again and Jacob resists, but ends up allowing them to take Benjamin with them down to Egypt, when they arrive Joseph invites them to his house to dine and weeps at the sight of Benjamin. 44 Joseph again puts the money back in their sacks with possessions from his house in Benjamin's sack, he sends his people out to catch them and brings them back, when they come back it is found that Benjamin's sack is the one but Judah pleads with Joseph to take his life in place of Benjamin's life for his father's sake. 45 Joseph reveals himself to his brothers and explains how God sent Joseph down this path to preserve their lives, now they go back to Jacob to tell him that Joseph is alive! 46 Jacob sets out for Egypt and God speaks to him in a dream to assure him of his safety, Joseph sets out to meet his father and weeps and instructs him how to speak to Pharoh. 47 Pharaoh meets Jacob and allows them all to take the best land to settle and become shepherds and even shepherd Pharaoh's flocks, all in Egypt sell their flocks for food and even sell their land and selves for food because the famine were so severe, so from now on 1/5 of all they harvest is to be given to Pharaoh. 48 Israel takes Joseph's sons as his own and blesses them Ephraim and Manasseh but blesses the younger first, Ephraim, but Joseph objects, but Israel insists. 49 Israel prophesies over his sons and has them promise to have him buried in the land of his father and grandfather and Israel passes away. 50 Joseph asks to bury his father in Canaan and Pharaoh allows it sending a large contingency, Joseph's brothers ask for mercy and Joseph assures them that what they did for evil God intended for good and they'll be fine, Joseph dies. |

| Israel grows; Moses born and called: 1 Israel and his son's generation passes and their family grow in number, the new king that didn't know Joseph feared their size and decided to put them under hard labor, but they only multiplied more, and soon the Pharaoh tried to instruct the midwives to kill the sons, but they feared God and lied to Pharaoh and the sons lived and God blessed the midwives, eventually Pharaoh commanded to have all sons "thrown into the Nile". 2 Moses was born, placed on the Nile and found and raised by Pharaoh's daughter, when he grew he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, so Moses killed the Egyptian, the next day he realized that people knew of his deed and Pharaoh eventually found out as well and tried to kill him, so he fled to Midian where he meets the daughters of Reuel and dwells with him and eventually marries his daughter Zipporah, God heard the cries of the Hebrews and remembers his covenant with his people. 3 God reveals himself to Moses at the burning bush, God has heard the cry of his people and now will deliver them, Moses asks who should I say has sent me, "I AM WHO I AM", and God explains how Pharaoh will not just let them go, so Egypt will be struck with affliction and when Israel finally leaves they will take with them many riches from Egypt. 4 Moses questions how Pharaoh would believe him, so God gives him 3 signs to perform, but God also says this will not be enough so Moses is to say that God will take his firstborn son, Moses complains about not being able to speak and this angers God so God sends Aaron to help him, God wants to kill Moses but Zipporah intervenes, Moses and Aaron appear to the elders and perform the signs and explain everything that God has said. |
