HTN ( hypertension...elevated blood pressure)
May be harmful if used to treat AV block (MobitzII and 3rd degree block); doses less than the minimum may slow the heart rate.

Definition
Bradycardia: Adult IV 0.5 MG q 3-5 minutes.
max 0.03-0.04 mg/kg
Peds: 0.02 mg/kg (min dose 0.1 mg, max dose 0.5 mg)
Organophosphate poisoning: 2-5mg q 15 minutes until vital signs improve
Asthma: 0.4-2.0 mg/kg nebulized in 3 ml of saline
RSI: (pediatric) 0.02 mg/kg. Minimum 0.1 mg |
