2. It is concerned with cost benefit analysis i.e., optimum utilisation of resources.

Management is the process of getting things done and achieving group goals efficiently and effectively.

 

  1. Process- A series of steps or functions required in order to get things done. These steps include planning, organising, directing, staffing and controlling.
  2. Effective and efficient performance- Effective performance is completing tasks on time. Efficient performance is ensuring the optimum utilisation of resources.
  3. Achievement of group goals- All managers should direct their functions and activities towards the achievment of a common organisational goal. This goal should be the goal of every individual employee and must be considered a common goal.
