Definition
The use of words alike in sound but different in meaning. Basically, paronomasia
is just fancy term for a pun.
Example –
“What is most like a bee in May?
“Well, let me think, perhaps –” you say.
Bravo! You're guessing well today!”

(“Perhaps” is the word most like “maybe” - or “May Bee”)
