- Indications: used to treat a variety of bacterial infections including several types of sinus infections and pneumonia. Also for flare ups of chronic bronchitis, acute kidney infections, certain urinary or chronic prostate infections and skin infections.
- Dose Range and Routes: by mouth, dosage depends of what is being treated and patient symptoms.
- Side Effects: most frequent are diarrhea, insomnia and dizziness. rare are agitation, confusion and fever.

- Indications: used to treat certain bacertial infections in many parts of the body. Will not work on colds, flu or other virus infections.
- Dose Range and Routes: by mouth. drink plenty of water while taking this medication. should be taken 1 or 2 hours after a meal, milk or other dairy products. For infections dosage is typically 400mg every 12 hours for a duration of 3-21 days depending on diagnosis.
- Side Effects: may cause dizziness, lightheaded, drowsiness.
- Special Considerations: Avoid caffeine. Antacids, iron, zinc, multi vitamins need to be taken 2 hours before or after noroxin.
