->2 of the following S&S are present for a significant portion of time during a 1 month period - hallucinations, delusions, disorganized speech, grossly disorganized or catatonic behavior, & negative S&S
->1 areas of social/occupational dysfunction exist
-duration - at least 6 months
-S&S are not r/t substances or medical condition
-Prominent delusions/hallucinations must be present if pervasive developmental DO exists |
