Tier I, senior or graduate, who has been accepted for enrollment on a full time basis in a junior college, community college, university, or approved vocational school

AFQT and GT scores are dependent on requirements listed for the MOS which the applicant enlisted for and meet the requirements as described in the MPPM and MOS Manual

Moral:

Must meet requirements for the MPPM and qualify for the MOS selected

Physical:

Must meet requirements for the MPPM and qualify for the MOS selected

Other:

Must enlist for the 6x2 (K4)

Definition

The opportunity to continue, without delay, full-time education while serving as a member of the SMCR

Enlist for a specific MOS required by the SMCR unit, provided the initial skill training is less than 10 weeks unless authorized by the CMC

To provide a monetary incentive to attract highly qualified individuals to certain vital MOS’s needed by certain Marine Corps Reserve units

Definition

Mental:

Must be a Tier I graduate or a senior expected to graduate

AFQT of 31 and GT not required FOR MALES

AFQT of 50 and GT not required FOR FEMALES

Must possess qualifying scores for the MOS selected and meet standards of the MPPM and MOS manual

Moral:

Must meet requirements for the MPPM and qualify for the MOS selected

Physical:

Must meet requirements for the MPPM and qualify for the MOS selected

Other:

Never previously served in any component of the Armed Forces of the United States

Is not enlisting to qualify for a civilian position where membership in the Marine Corps is a condition of employment

Is not enlisting for voluntary assignment to full time active duty, or active duty for training, in excess of 90 days, in support of a Reserve program

Definition

Bonus of $4,000 payable as follows:

              $2,000 upon satisfactory completion of IADT (including MOS training)

              $400 after satisfactory completion off the 2nd year

              $400 after satisfactory completion off the 3rd year

              $400 after satisfactory completion off the 4th year

              $400 after satisfactory completion off the 5th year

              $400 after satisfactory completion off the 6th year
