The letter ј is always written in Macedonian between и and а, as in јас and тие forms of the verb пие: пејам, пејат. But, -ј is not written before е and и: пие,стои. In verrbal conjugation, j is also written between о and а, as in the јас an тие forms of стои: стојам, стојат.
