Term
MR Credit 2.1 Constructino Waste Managment: Requirements
Definition
Develop and implement a construction waste managment plan, quantifying material diversion goals. Recycle and/or salvage at least 50% of construction, demolition and packaging debris. Calculations may be done by weight or volume, but must be consistant throughout.
Term
MR Credit 2.1 Constructino Waste Managment: Submittals
Definition
Provide the LEED CI Letter template, signed by the architect, interior designer, tenant or other responsible party, tabulating the total waste material, quantities diverted and the means by which diverted, and declaring that the above requiremnts have been met.
Term
MR Credit 2.2 Constructino Waste Managment: Intent
Definition
Divert construction, demolition and land clearing debris from landfill disposal. Redirect recyclable recovered resources back to the manufacturing process. Redirect reusable materials to appropriate sites. 1 credit in addition to 2.1
Term
MR Credit 2.1 Constructino Waste Managment: Requirements
Definition
Develop and implement a construction waste managment plan, quantifying material diversion goals. Recycle and/or salvage at least 75% of construction, demolition and packaging debris. Calculations may be done by weight or volume, but must be consistant throughout.
Term
MR Credit 2.1, 2.2 Constructino Waste Managment: Innovation in Design
Definition
Exemplary performance in Construction Waste Managment when the percent diverted is 95% of total waste or greater.
Term
Definitions:
Construction and demolition debris
Definition
Includes waste and recyclables generated from construction, renovation, and demolition or deconstruction of pre-existing structures.
Term
Definitions:
Recycling
Definition
The collection, reprocessing, marketing and use of materials that were diverted or recovered from teh solid waste stream
Term
Definitions:

Definition
A strategy to return materials to active use in the same or related capacity
Term
Definitions:
Tipping Fee
Definition
Fees charged by a landfill for disposal of waste volumes. The fee is typically quoted for one ton of waste.
Term
MR Credit 3.1 Resource Reuse:
Intent
Definition
Reuse building materials and products in order to reuduce demand for virgin materials and to reduce waste, thereby reducing impacts associated with teh extraction and processing of virgin resources. 1 Credit
Term
MR Credit 3.1 Resource Reuse: Requirments
Definition
Use salvaged, refurbished, or reused materials for at least 5% of building (construction) materials, excluding furniture and furnishings.
Term
MR Credit 3.1 Resource Reuse: Submittals
Definition
Leed CI Letter Template, signed by the architect, interior designer, owner or other responsible party, declaring that the credit requirments have been met and listing each material or product used to meet the credit. Include details demonstrating that the project incorporates the required percentage of reused materials and products, showing their costs and the total cost of all materials for the project.
Term
MR Credit 3.2 Resource Reuse: Requirements
Definition
Use salvaged, refurbished, or reused materials for at least 5% of building (construction) materials, excluding furniture and furnishings. 1 Credit in addition to 3.1
Term
Definitions:
Reused or salvaged materials
Definition
Include rcovered construction materials reused in the project. Common salvaged materials include structural beams and posts, flooring, doors, cabinetry, brick and decorative items. Term
Definitions:
Replacement value
