First- find out the population q^2= homozygous ressesive frequency q= ressesive allelic frequency p= Dominant allelic frequency p^2= homozygous dominant frequency 2pq= Heterozygous frequency
start with homozygous ressive (q^2) and take the square root of that, that = your q, q and p should equal 1 so subtract 1 from your q then you have p square p and you have homozygous dominant, for heterozygous frequency take 2xPxQ |
