1. Signs or Symptoms of shock
2. Cardiopulmonary arrest (Excluding Pt's in Ref. 814 & 815)
3. Chest pain or discomfort
4. Shortness of breath and/or tachypnea
5. Pediatric Medical Care (PMC) guidelines (Ref. 510)
6.Situations involving five or more pt's who require transport (Contacting MAC constitutes base contact)
7. Altered level of consciousness as defined in the Medical Control Guidelines.
8. Suspected ingestion of potentially poisonous substances.
9. Exposure to hazardous materials with a medical complaint.
10. Abdominal pain in a pregnant or in a suspected pregnant pt.
11. Childbirth or signs of labor
12. Suspected fx of the pelvis or femur.
13. Face, neck, elec, or extensive burns: 20% or> BSA adult 15% or > BSA children 10% or > BSA infants
14. Trauma Triage Criteria and Guidelines as defined in Ref. 506.
15. Traumatic Crush Syndrome.
16. Syncope or LOC, or acute neurological symptoms prior to or upon EMS personnel arrival.
17. A pt meeting any criteria as stated above who AMA's. Base cont is req prior to the pt leaving the scene. |
