Definition
I used to have more difficulty with time management when I began my last internship because I was working 4 different people in my office and they would often each have a project or task for me to complete and at first I would try to complete one project at a time, which is where I learned to love work plans. Being able to map out what has most priority and then letting all of my supervisors aware of what I'm working was really helpful and allowed me to multi-task a lot better. |

With FASD we went to a community event where there were a few hundred potential people to apply for Calfresh and it required the team to take shifts, people playing to their strengths, such as being able to speak a different language or being better at explaining the politics of it all or completing applications, it was really important for everyone to pull their own weight and still be there to offer support for one another. |

Passion = health b/c I grew up obese and it wasn't until I was empowered through education that I felt that I had control. Also, my growing passion for teaching...for that gratification when my students say "Bye Mr. Chris!" and getting that sense that they learned something, and that it was I who taught them. And to put these 2 things together is what drew me to this position. |

· What kind of management style do you prefer? Describe the behaviors of your favorite supervisor.
|

Definition
I prefer to me macromanaged. I think communication b/w a supervisor and his/her subordinate is essential, but I find it most effective for my work ethic to be given a task or project and being entrusted to figure out how to complete it successfully. I think weekly or even bi-weekly meetings with a supervisor would be great just to brush up on the progress and any major concerns. |
