- Uzziah died after 50 year reign, uncertainty in the kingdom. YHWH is exalted in this time.
- Isaiah may be afraid to come into the presence of God because of how Uzziah died.
- Verses 9-13 are about God revealing what the people believe and therefore forcing them to make a conscious decision for or against God.
