        | The Legislative branch The General Assembly-Made up of the Senate and House of Representatives-
 In each district there is 1 senator and 2 representatives. There are 59 districts, so there is a total of 59 senators and 118 representatives, and a total of 177 people in the General Assmebly.
 Elected every 2 years, U.S. citizen, 21 years old, resident 2 years.
 
 10 years -  redistrict based on census information
 
 Bill-passed by MAJORITY of both th House of Rep. and the Senate. Then it is sent to the governor to veto or pass. If the bill is vetoed or not done to in 30 days it goes back to the General Assembly and can be passed with a TWO THIRDS VOTE.
