- Hitler anschluss'd with Austria in 12 March 1938.
- Mussolini supported this action.
- Hitler encouraged the Nazi party in Austria to cause trouble and riot to anschluss with Germany.
- Austrian Chancellor, Schushchnigg pleaded for help to Britian and France, but they refused.
- The Aust. gov. held a plebiscite with Austrian people. Under the Nazi eyes, 99.4% chose anschluss.
- Chamberlain felt that they should had been together and the Treaty of Versailles should not have seperated them.

- The leader of Czechoslovakia was horrified by the idea of anschluss.
