Definition
the term used to describe it have varied throughout time; today the term metal illness, psychopathology, abnormal behavior, and maladjusted behavior

Definition
normal individual’s posses a powerful motive to survivor, and therefore behavior contrary to that motive is considered abnormal. There are a few exceptions which generally include some benefit (for example Chinese suicide, castration, and war).
