• Walks to the calculator and reads the number
• Writes the number on a slip of paper and puts it in the specified mailbox
• number in the calculator is unchanged
• original number in mailbox is changed to the new value

Describe the steps that the Little Man takes for the input instruction.

• Walks to the in basket and picks up slip of paper
• punches the number from the paper into the calculator (number no longer in the basket & original calculator number replaced with new number)
• if multiple slips of paper are in the basket he picks them up in the order submited
