b. Albermale Paper v. Moody- court found that the burden of proof is on the employer. Failed to validate their employment test.
c. University of California v. Bakke- white guy wanted to go to law school at Davis. Bakke two years in a row didn’t get in, looked at others scores said my scores are better. Reverse discrimination against the whites. Always higher people based on merit, potential and ability
d. United Steel Workers v. Weber- a case also on reversed discrimination. Union and company in agreement to give special treatment to minorities. Suite was filed and it did not pass because management and union agreed to it. It was only temporary. |
