Louis XVI

Louis XVI was the king of France from 1774 until 1791. After that he was King of France from 1791 to 1792 before he was executed during the French Revolution. 

An oath signed by the members of the third estate, they were locked out of the meeting of the Estates-General. They made a conference room out of a tennis court and signed an oath that opposed King Louis XVI.

An estate was a class or group that people were put into to mark where they were in society. The third estate was commoners, the second estate was nobility, and the first estate was the clergy. 

It was the Paris Commune, they looked poor and they acted ordinary to fit in with the rest of the citizens. 

He as the radical group leader and he was against Louis XVI and wanted the poor to feel that they got more attention and they got more money because they are paying the taille. 

It was the committee that was part of the Jacobins and they were against the king Louis XVI.

A political group that formed the wake in the French Revolution and it was led by Robespierre. 

A British General and statesman that went to Waterloo and defeated Napolean; he also served as a prime minister.

The Consitution of 1791 set this type of government up. 

A collection of laws, to deal with core ideas of private laws that dealt with business and lawsuits. 

Patriotic feelings and efforts or support. 

The middle class in the third estate, they had more materials then the lower class of the first estate. 

A committee of five elders that were chose from a list presented by the Council of 500.

Author that published a radical journal called Friend of the People and defended the September massacres.

Dissenting groups that wanted "plain" and none of them belonged to a political club.
