Pentecost is first fruit harvest with the feast of weeks. It occur 50 days after Passover during May/June time frame. After 3 or 4 months is the feast of Tabernacle. This feast is to celebrate and in giving the 1st fruit to God. For the rest of the harvest is for them to have and eat. The signifiance of this in NT is the beginning of soul harvesting. |

Fire came down like a great ball of fire over the heads of 120 people. Than it broke down into small fire to each person
The significance of the fire coming down is the acceptance of the new temple of God. Just like when Moses built the tabernacle, God sent fire down to it as an approval. When Solomon built the temple, Lord sent fire down onto the temple as acceptance of the new dwelling place for God. In the same way, God sent fire onto believer at the day of Pentecost as approval of the new temple. This happen once. |
