-It was used as propaganda to improve Napoleon's image as a hero and a leader since she was a large amount of human loss.

-He is in a sick house, where troops that had caught the bubonic plague were kept.

-He is shown as Christ like, willing to touch an open wound of the sick and heal them.

-Shows him as a humanitarian.

-It ignores the fact that he then poisoned these troops as he left Jaffa.

The Raft of the Medusa

-This was meant to show the struggle to survive, the theme is humans against nature shown with the dramatic waves.

-This is the moment that they first see a ship.
