In this study a teacher quizzes a student. When the student answers incorrectly the teacher is informed by an authority figure to administer electrical shock to the student. The teacher has the option to stop at any point by is lead to believe they have no morale obligation to the students we'll being. This test is run to see what choices people will make when they are not held responsible. If the teacher choices to take it apon themselves to protect the student then the authority figure has less of an impact on the teacher. Also they have a greater impact on those they influence to administer the electrical pulses. |
