Hitler was elected to power and began to lead Germany out of its great depression. He soon wanted to annex the Czech republic and was able to do so because the British and French were unable to help the Czech at the time. After occupying all of the Czech republic, he set his sights on Poland, and that's when the British and French intervened and declared war. |
