This is the Acumen Epic patient portal. This is the equivalent of Allscripts's Follow My Health.  Patient's current Follow My Health access will remain but any new health information will only be seen in the new MyChart patient portal.

This is the Acumen Epic equivalent of the Task List and inbox

Order Sets

These are quick click items that will allow the order of one or multiple items that are often ordered at the same time. Can be a time saver for physicians and nurses!

Pools

These are very similar to how we have our Teams set up in Allscripts EHR when tasking. 

Preference List

A set of frequently ordered items. Very similar to our current Allscripts Favorites' list.

SmartSet

A documentation template that groups orders, notes, chief complaints, etc. Using SmartSets reduces data entry time. These are used in the ambulatory setting and are somewhat analogous to order sets in the inpatient setting, except that they can include documentation as well.

SmartPhrase

AKA a "dot phrase". Text that can be populated using a dot phrase. Can save tremendous amounts of charting time. Function very similar to Allscripts dot phrases

SmartList

A series of items that can be selected from a drop down list.  This is very similar to a picklist that we currently have in Allscripts.

User ID

User ID

This is the login ID you will use to login to Epic.

Concord Fax

This is the faxing system we will use to receive our incoming faxes. Similar to how TouchChart receives our faxes today.

Media Manager

This is how documents are imported into Acumen Epic.

Staff Message

This is the Acumen Epic equivalent of "Not About a Patient" in the tasking world. We have been advised to NOT use the Staff Messaging feature at this time.
