Used greek god names for egyptians.
Osiris becomes king of egypt.
Seth created wooden chest to Osiris's measurements. Who ever fit would get the box. When Osiris tried the box it sealed and cast into the river. Ended up in a tree which was cut for a palace pillar. Isis went for the pillar and after playing demeter got it from the king. Her wailing over the coffin killed the youngest prince, eldest went with her on a boat with the coffin, died of fright after being caught looking in coffin. Isis went to care for Horus with the coffin in hideing. Seth find coffin and cuts body into 14 pieces. Myth brances with either Isis finds each piece and builds a shrine there or gathers the pieces (expect phallis) and with magic makes him whole so he can rule the underworld. |

Another version of poison tale from Stela.
Ra is an old man and Isis wants to have power over him to help her son (protect him from seth).
Creates a scorpion with dirt, magic, and Ra's spit. (normal animals don't hurt him)
Scorpion bites him and Isis won't heal him until he gives her his name (name is power like Rumple.)
He gives her his name and she removes the poison with a prayer that could be used by the egyptions for poison help. |
