| allows the frontal bone to behave as a paired cranial bone therefore it moves into external rotation during craniosacral flexion and internal rotation during craniosacral extension. present at birth, At one year of age it is still open, at three years of age it is partially open and by six years of age it either closes completely for a lifetime or remains partially open for a lifetime. |
