• Often described as band-like pressure, soreness, tightness, weight on the head • Have at least 2 of the following: - Pressing/tightening (non- pulsating quality) - Mild to moderate severity - Bilateral - No aggravation with physical activity • No nausea or vomiting (anorexia may occur) • Either photophobia or phonophobia may be present but not both |

-5 attacks lasting 4–72 hours (30 minutes–7 days), frequency <15 days per month -2 of the following Pressing/tightening quality Mild or moderate severity (may inhibit, but does not prohibit activities) Bilateral location No aggravation by walking stairs or similar routine physical activity -Both of the following No vomiting No more than one of the following: nausea, photophobia, or phonophobia -No evidence on history or examination of disease that might cause headaches |
