| The project developed the methods of chromatography. The purpose of chromatography was to analyze the pesticides using a GC-FID which is a machine that breaks mixtures in order to form compounds. Our experiment used crop juice to find out which stores use pesticies on what produce. Thats how we determined what store used more pesticides on produce. |

| So we learned that pesticides are substances used to prevent pest. Some of the commonly used pesticides are herbicides, insecticides and fungicides. They are commonly used for agriculture for destroying weeds and seeds, and controlling insects and disease. Pesticides do contaminate soil, water, fruits, and vegetables. The goal of analyzing pesticides is to make sure our food and environment are safe |
