Definition

- Produced by testes in male and adrenal glands in both sexes.

 

- Its satisfied through physical stimulation and release w/ a partner or through masturbation.

Definition

1. Vasocongestion: the inflow of blood to tissues in the erogenous areas.

 

2. Myotonia: the voluntary or involuntary muscle tension that occurs in response to sexual stimulation.

-Men: Pain during sex, sexual desire disorder, erectile dysfunction, ejaculation disorder -> testosterone and other medications.

 

- Females: vaginismus (painful sex), sexual arousal/ desire disorder, orgasmic dysfuntion -> testosterone replacement therapy.
