Definition
Caring is the central focus of nursing; it is more difficult in todays fast paced health care.
The legalities of health care has made the appearance of caring missing to the client. Technology has made some tasks easier but has increased the time away from the patient. So make it a point to find ways to ensure that caring and compassion are still a central part of your nursing practice.

Definition
Without caring, the nurse-patient relationship would not be a good one. So caring plays a huge role in making the patient feel that they can trust to with their lives in order to make them well again and get them home

They demonstrate caring by providing a presence through making eye contact, body language, tone of voice listening, a positive and encouraging attitude and cultural appropriateness
