The victories for the Greeks meant that they remained free to develop genius and they could also keep political and intellectual views.

Using Specifc and direct examples, define "civlization." What is the difference between a simple community of ppl and a full fledged civilation? In other words, How do you know a civilization when you are looking at one?

Civilization= citizens bind themselves polically, economically, and social development, notion of law, art and science to explain the larger world, theology, cultural diffusion, trade, religion. Simple Community- local, small residences, common interest, not diverse like a civ., the same jobs etc,
