What is a Prokaryotic Cell? |
|
Definition
Prokaryotic cells do not have an organized nucleus. The genetic material (DNA) is found in a diffused state in the cytoplasm. It does not form a chromatin and it is not bound by a nuclear membrane. Membrane bound cell organelles are absent and the cell is bound by a single or unit membrane. (eg. Bacteria) |

What is a Eukaryotic Cell? |
|
Definition
A cell containing organelles and DNA or RNA within a Nucleus. (eg. Animal and Plant Cells) |

Term
Where do cells come from? |
|
Definition
All cells come from pre-existing cells. |
