Have the patient sit down and have them move their head forward and have them turn a little bit to the side as they keep talking to you. Speech will get more mumbled if the artery is suppressed. Can also have the patient lay down in the supine position and then have them turn 90 degrees to the right and have them count down from 10. Then have them turn back to center and have their head hanging off of the bed 30 degrees and have them do the same thing. Then do the same on the left side. |
