Critical period- A period of time during development when the brain is open to particular type of experience, resulting in the development of a particular characteristics.
Innate tendency- Characteristics or behaviour that is inherited and not acquired.
Long-term benifits- Not just for short-term grafification but serves a purpose that will ensure survival.
Social releasers- Any behaviour that encourages a care-giver reaction from another person.
