given the task of creating a new car which would be

both fuel efficient and environmentally friendly.

Name

The word prius is a Latin word meaning "[to go] before.“   A Toyota spokesman stated that "Toyota chose this name because the Prius vehicle is the predecessor of cars to come."

  Chroma:  The purity or intensity of a color

  Film:  Color that is transparent and alters the perception of what is seen.  Example:  Looking through rose-colored glasses.

  Volume:  Color that is consistent throughout, such as orange jello or a red neon sign.
